I'm being hypocritical by even writing this, but:

No, I don't care about Michael Jackson dying. And even though it won't make a difference, I'm not looking forward to the inevitable "We'll miss you, Michael" bull crap that is going to be invading deviantART and my message box for the next week or so.

Just thought I'd say it first.

Also, I'm waiting for a possible interview tomorrow or next week. Ugh, I want that apprenticeship so bad.

Also, HOW THE HELL CAN THEY EXPECT US TO WAIT UNTIL JULY 21ST FOR CORALINE TO COME OUT ON DVD!? It's already been 5 months!

Yeah I didn't care much either, the guy hasn't done anything interesting in the last decade.

He may have died last week, but his career died years ago.

Aside from the occasional controversy involving his personal life, no one has cared about him in a long time. Now that he's dead, people who live through celebrities will shed some tears about someone they pretty much forgot existed.

I felt bad cause well, he's a fellow human, and I'd feel bad when anyone dies because they always leave someone who cared about them behind. But when I thought about it over the past few days, I was just kinda mad, because I feel like the media seriously had a big effect on his crazy life, and I've been pissed off with how stupid our country and others are for being so stinking celebrity obsessed that people need to make up stupid stories to put on trash magazines, and basiclly torture another souls life emotionally. I have more to rant about, like how we pay them ridiculous amounts of money for stupid shit, and etc, but I won't.

My point, MJ was obviously a talented, yet incredibly eccentric person, with some obvious emtional issues...however half of that is the fault of his father, the media, and himself. I feel bad that people have to go through such crap in their lives. ( not just MJ but everyone) life shouldn't suck.
